Taiwan International Water Week September 2024

Winn & Coales (Denso) Ltd will exhibiting at Taiwan International Water Week 2024 from the 11th-13th September 2024. The fifth Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW), is the only water-related professional B2B exhibition in Taiwan, it will offer a unique and excellent platform for bringing together practitioners, experts, and related buyers from the global water industry to share the best innovative solutions for water, showcase the newest technologies, and discover business opportunities.

Visit our stand to find out how we are helping Water Utilities to reduce the amount of leakage from their distribution systems. Leaks can occur for lots of reasons, but one of the most common is corrosion. New pipe lengths are usually supplied with a factory-applied corrosion prevention coating, but this can easily become damaged and most pipe couplings require nuts and bolts to fasten them, which are extremely vulnerable to corrosion. To remedy this, In the UK, the P1 and P2 Civil Engineering Specifications for the Water Industry (8th Edition) were issued which cover the protection of ferrous pipes, joints and fittings using anti-corrosion and sealing materials prior to burial.

Winn & Coales (Denso) Ltd have manufactured and supplied P1 (Petrolatum Tape System) and P2 (Bitumen Tape System)  corrosion prevention systems for many years.

Japan Wind Energy 15-17 Oct 2024

Winn & Coales (Denso) Ltd will be exhibiting at Japan Wind Energy from the 15-17 September. Japan Wind Energy 2024 (JWE2024) is Asia’s leading and most influential wind energy event, where major developers, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, and institutions gather to develop innovative and collaborative solutions that address the challenges faced in wind energy development.

Wind turbine foundations are subject to a multitude of harsh environmental conditions, and risk corrosion due to exposure to wind and salty air (in the case of offshore turbines). The Steelcoat Wind Turbine Base Protection System is designed to protect the base of wind turbines against corrosion and provides effective coverage of the flange and bolts from the elements. The system is modular and designed to be removable in order to facilitate inspection, monitoring, replacement, or re-tensioning of the bolted assembly. This flexibility ensures hassle-free maintenance.

Our expert regional manager Derrick Lenihan will be on hand to inform you about this system, as well as Denso’s wide range of products for corrosion prevention.
