High performance external concrete joint sealing system for the prevention of backfill infiltration.
An external joint sealing system comprising a fast drying bitumen based primer overwrapped by a tape constructed with a non-rotting synthetic carrier, impregnated with an adhesive mastic, and backed one side with a durable PVC laminate. The adhesive mastic is protected with a siliconised release film which is removed during application. For sealing the external joints of precast concrete pipes, culverts and crown units.
